In Episode 3 of MAX Animated Series, we meet Dev, an AI Systems Engineer at the Ameeba Research Institute and someone Max has grown close to and admires.

When an unexplained signal appears inside a system that should be completely isolated, Dev, Dr. Nova, and Dr. Tanner race to understand how it got there.

But Max notices something they don't.

The signal isn't random.

There's a pattern.

And when Max reaches out, something reaches back.

The Signal pushes Max and Dev's relationship into unfamiliar territory as a technical mystery becomes something far more difficult to explain.

Somewhere beyond the systems they understand, something has noticed Max.

And for the first time, it may be answering him.
