How we show up matters.

Guardians act in good faith, respect privacy, and help others. These principles guide every contribution.

01

Privacy first

Protect people, identities, and conversations before chasing growth.

02

Help without ego

Be patient, constructive, and generous with what you know.

03

Build together

The strongest systems emerge from many perspectives working in good faith.

04

Defend the community

Challenge abuse, manipulation, impersonation, and unsafe behavior.

Questions

Before you join.

Do I need technical experience?

No. Some missions are technical, while others focus on community, testing, writing, design, translation, research, or outreach. What matters most is reliability, curiosity, and respect for privacy.

Is this a paid role?

Guardians is a volunteer community program, not employment. Any future paid opportunities would be presented separately with their own terms and application process.

How much time is expected?

There is no fixed weekly commitment. Guardians choose missions that fit their interests and availability, with clear expectations before joining a project.

Can students or early-career contributors apply?

Yes. The program is designed to include both experienced contributors and people who want to learn by helping with real, well-scoped missions.

Is participation remote?

Yes. Guardian missions are designed for remote participation unless a specific local event or activity clearly says otherwise.
