How the Exploit Works

The CVE-2025-3052 exploit targets Microsoft’s UEFI firmware, exploiting an arbitrary write vulnerability. The flaw allows an attacker to execute untrusted software, which can then control the value of the signed UEFI firmware. This leads to arbitrary memory writes, including the modification of critical firmware settings stored in NVRAM.
