How the Exploit Works

The exploit targets the argument ‘submit-url’ in the HTTP POST Request Handler component of the router’s firmware. By sending a specially crafted request, an attacker can manipulate this argument to trigger a buffer overflow. This overflow can subsequently lead to system instability, unauthorized access, or even remote command execution.
