How the Exploit Works

The vulnerability arises from a buffer overflow condition in the “fromSetRouteStatic” function of the Tenda AC6 router. Buffer overflow is a common type of security exploit that occurs when more data is written to a buffer than it can handle, causing the excess data to overflow into adjacent memory space.
