How the Exploit Works

The vulnerability, CVE-2024-49835, stems from a flaw in the software’s handling of secure files. When the system reads a secure file, it may inadvertently corrupt the memory, leading to unpredictable system behavior. This could, in turn, allow an attacker to insert malicious code or extract sensitive data from the memory, potentially leading to a complete system compromise or data leakage.
