How the Exploit Works
The vulnerability lies in the lvre!UDecStrToNum function of NI LabVIEW. An attacker can craft a specially designed VI (Virtual Instrument) file that, when opened by an unsuspecting user, exploits the improper bounds checking issue in this function.
