An attacker with network access to the Kubernetes cluster can send API commands to this debugging server to kill arbitrary processes in any Kubernetes pod. By repeating this action across multiple pods, an attacker could cause a cluster-wide denial of service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Countermeasures and Mitigation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Users are advised to apply the vendor patch as soon as it is available. Until that time, a Web Application Firewall (WAF) or Intrusion Detection System (IDS) can offer temporary mitigation.
