An app, with limited user-level permissions, can manipulate the permissions framework of macOS to gain root privileges. This escalation of privileges can be used to gain complete control over the system, allowing the attacker to perform unauthorized actions such as modifying system files, installing malicious software, or extracting sensitive data.

Conceptual Example Code

The following is a conceptual representation of how the vulnerability might be exploited.
