When the application parses a maliciously crafted file, it can result in a read past the end of an allocated memory structure. An attacker can craft a specific file that, when opened by the application, triggers the vulnerability and executes code within the context of the current user.

Conceptual Example Code

This is a conceptual example and does not reflect a specific code that could exploit this vulnerability.
