In versions 1.5 to 1.6.8 of the plugin, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-27214-missing-authentication-for-critical-function-vulnerability-in-unifi-connect-ev-station-pro\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"82098\">function fails to properly validate the two-factor authentication<\/a> (2FA) codes, which are intended to provide an additional layer of security for user logins. By supplying a bogus code in the &#8216;pwd&#8217; parameter, the attacker can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-46386-authorization-bypass-leading-to-potential-system-compromise\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"79885\">bypass the 2FA and gain access to the system<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mitigation and Prevention<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Users of the affected versions of the RingCentral Communications <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-8723-cloudflare-image-resizing-plugin-for-wordpress-remote-code-execution-vulnerability\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"80951\">plugin for WordPress<\/a> are strongly advised to apply the vendor&#8217;s patch immediately. If this is not possible, implementing a Web Application Firewall (WAF) or Intrusion Detection System (IDS) can provide temporary mitigation.
