The AJAX action only verifies a nonce, without checking the caller\u2019s capabilities. This oversight <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-50738-memos-application-vulnerability-allows-for-unauthorized-user-information-disclosure\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"69665\">allows a subscriber-level user<\/a> to retrieve the token and then access the custom endpoint. If the patch is not available or cannot be applied immediately, using a Web Application Firewall (WAF) or an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) can provide temporary mitigation.
