It attempts to set itself as the HTTPS proxy, which, if successful, would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-41666-watchdog-file-replacement-vulnerability-allowing-remote-access-and-control\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"66661\">allow it to gain unauthorized access<\/a> to sensitive user data.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mitigation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-43209-high-risk-out-of-bounds-access-vulnerability-affecting-multiple-apple-operating-systems\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"69682\">Apple has already addressed this issue with improved access<\/a> restrictions in subsequent macOS updates.
