This function lacks proper file type validation, allowing any <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-6058-critical-arbitrary-file-upload-vulnerability-in-wpbookit-wordpress-plugin\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"66457\">file type to be uploaded<\/a> by an unauthenticated user. The attacker could exploit this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-49416-critical-php-remote-file-inclusion-vulnerability-in-fastw3b-llc-fw-gallery\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"66060\">vulnerability by uploading a malicious file<\/a> which, when executed, could compromise the system. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-49886-critical-php-local-file-inclusion-vulnerability-in-webgeniuslab-zikzag-core\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"66115\">PHP file<\/a> named &#8216;evil.php&#8217; containing malicious code is uploaded. Once uploaded, the malicious file could be executed, potentially <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-54444-unrestricted-file-upload-leading-to-code-injection-in-samsung-electronics-magicinfo-9-server\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"67235\">leading to remote code<\/a> execution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mitigation Guidance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To mitigate this vulnerability, users should apply the vendor patch immediately. If this is not possible for some reason, using a Web Application Firewall (WAF) or Intrusion Detection System (IDS) could offer temporary protection.
