An attacker, after gaining initial access to the network, can exploit this flaw to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-53762-privilege-elevation-vulnerability-in-microsoft-purview\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"72936\">elevate their privileges<\/a>. The `&#8221;elevate&#8221;: true` part of the payload is where the improper authorization flaw is exploited, as the system fails to properly check the user&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-3499-unauthenticated-rest-apis-expose-system-to-os-command-injection-attacks\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"77673\">privileges<\/a> before executing the command.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recommendations for Mitigation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Users of Azure Machine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-21445-memory-corruption-vulnerability-in-virtual-machines-leads-to-potential-system-compromise\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"75180\">Learning<\/a> are strongly advised to apply the latest vendor patch to mitigate this vulnerability.
