The function fails to properly sanitize the user-supplied <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-53652-jenkins-git-parameter-plugin-unvalidated-input-vulnerability\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"68615\">inputs via the &#8216;mac&#8217; and &#8216;desc&#8217; parameters<\/a>. This inadequate input validation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-49688-double-free-vulnerability-in-windows-rras-opens-door-for-unauthorized-code-execution\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"67761\">opens the door<\/a> for an attacker to inject malicious commands. This listener, once established, could be used for a variety of nefarious purposes including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-21432-memory-corruption-vulnerability-resulting-in-potential-system-compromise-or-data-leakage\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"76452\">data exfiltration or further system compromise<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Possible Mitigations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To mitigate this vulnerability, it is advised to apply the vendor&#8217;s patch as soon as it becomes available.
