The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-30417-memory-corruption-vulnerability-in-ni-circuit-design-suite\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"68200\">memory corruption<\/a> occurs due to an out of bounds read in the Bitmap::InternalDraw() function when using the SymbolEditor of the NI Circuit Design Suite. The crafted file is then sent to the victim, who opens it with the SymbolEditor, triggering the exploit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mitigation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Users of the affected <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-51055-insecure-data-storage-vulnerability-in-vedo-suite-version-2024-17\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"81592\">versions of NI Circuit Design Suite<\/a> are advised to apply the vendor-supplied patch as soon as possible. As a temporary mitigation, Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) or Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) can be used to detect and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-8059-critical-privilege-escalation-vulnerability-in-b-blocks-wordpress-plugin\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"76436\">block attempts to exploit this vulnerability<\/a>. However, this is only a stop-gap measure and does not remove the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-33077-local-stack-based-buffer-overflow-vulnerability-in-ibm-engineering-systems-design-rhapsody\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"68366\">vulnerability from the system<\/a>.
