This allows potential <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-22455-local-authenticated-attacker-decrypts-stored-sql-credentials-in-ivanti-workspace-control\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"60895\">attackers to manipulate SQL<\/a> queries in such a way that they can retrieve, alter, or delete data within the database. This method is commonly known as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-47172-sql-injection-vulnerability-in-microsoft-office-sharepoint\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"61101\">SQL Injection<\/a>, and in this case, it is a Blind SQL Injection, meaning the attacker doesn\u2019t need detailed error messages to exploit it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conceptual Example Code<\/strong><\/p><div id=\"ameeb-566389180\" class=\"ameeb-content ameeb-entity-placement\"><div class=\"poptin-embedded\" data-id=\"f6b387694f681\"><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<\/div>\n<p>A conceptual example of how this vulnerability might be exploited is shown below. This is an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-6162-critical-buffer-overflow-vulnerability-in-totolink-ex1200t-http-post-request-handler\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"63987\">HTTP request<\/a> where the &#8220;student_id&#8221; field is manipulated with a malicious SQL payload:<\/p>\n<pre><code class=\"\" data-line=\"\">GET \/student\/profile?student_id=1 OR 1=1 HTTP\/1.1\nHost: vulnerable-school.edu<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>Here, the attacker injects an always true condition (`1=1`), which could potentially return <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-6560-sapido-wireless-routers-exposure-of-sensitive-information-vulnerability\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"64469\">sensitive information<\/a> from the database.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Proposed Mitigation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The most effective solution to address this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-50213-special-element-injection-vulnerability-in-apache-airflow-providers-snowflake\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"63986\">vulnerability is applying a patch provided<\/a> by the vendor. If this is not immediately possible, a temporary mitigation measure can be implemented by utilizing a Web Application Firewall (WAF) or Intrusion Detection System (IDS) to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-45984-critical-command-injection-vulnerability-detected-in-blink-routers\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"61357\">detect and prevent SQL Injection<\/a> attacks.
