It allows unauthenticated remote attackers to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-27709-sql-injection-vulnerability-in-zohocorp-manageengine-adaudit-plus\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"60125\">inject arbitrary SQL<\/a> commands into the WIMP platform. This is a simple example and actual attack vectors may be more complex.<\/p>\n<pre><code class=\"\" data-line=\"\">POST \/target_endpoint HTTP\/1.1\nHost: vulnerable_site.com\nContent-Type: application\/x-www-form-urlencoded\nusername=admin&#039;;DROP TABLE users;--&amp;password=123<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>In this example, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-22455-local-authenticated-attacker-decrypts-stored-sql-credentials-in-ivanti-workspace-control\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"60862\">attacker sends a POST request with a malicious SQL<\/a> command included in the &#8216;username&#8217; field. This command tries to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-42916-high-impact-database-table-deletion-vulnerability\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"88692\">delete the &#8216;users&#8217; table from the database<\/a>. If the SQL <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-41661-unauthenticated-remote-command-execution-vulnerability-due-to-csrf-in-main-web-interface\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"61165\">command is executed<\/a>, it could lead to serious consequences such as loss of data or even system compromise.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mitigation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The best way to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-39486-rankie-sql-injection-vulnerability-and-mitigation-measures\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"62876\">mitigate this vulnerability<\/a> is to apply the vendor patch as soon as possible. If the patch cannot be applied immediately, using a Web Application Firewall (WAF) or Intrusion Detection System (IDS) can provide temporary mitigation.
