Specifically, it affects the UploadCustomModule function. An attacker can manipulate the File argument leading to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-5624-critical-stack-based-buffer-overflow-vulnerability-in-d-link-dir-816-1-10cnb05\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"59218\">buffer overflow<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-5622-critical-buffer-overflow-vulnerability-in-d-link-dir-816-1-10cnb05\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"59260\">Buffer overflow<\/a> is a common type of security flaw where an application writes more data to a block of memory, or buffer, than it was intended to hold.
