This plugin is widely used for managing online stores, and the vulnerability can have severe consequences if exploited. In particular, it allows unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files to a site’s server, potentially leading to remote code execution. This function is responsible for uploading images to a store’s server. However, due to a lack of proper file type validation, it can be exploited to upload arbitrary files, including malicious ones.
Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request that includes the file upload.
