The &#8216;user_id&#8217; is set to &#8216;admin_user&#8217;, and the &#8216;new_email&#8217; and &#8216;new_password&#8217; fields are filled with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/nucor-cybersecurity-incident-a-detailed-analysis-of-the-attack-and-its-implications\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"48297\">attacker&#8217;s chosen details<\/a>. If successful, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-46739-unauthenticated-brute-force-attack-leads-to-account-compromise\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"46406\">attacker would then have full access to the &#8216;admin_user&#8217; account<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mitigation Guidance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As immediate steps to mitigate this vulnerability, users are advised to either apply the vendor patch or use a Web Application Firewall (WAF) or Intrusion Detection System (IDS) as a temporary solution.
