An attacker with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-2158-local-file-inclusion-vulnerability-in-wordpress-review-plugin\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"45560\">local access can craft a malicious PAR file<\/a>, which when processed by the application, results in reading past the end of an allocated data structure. They then trick the victim into processing this malicious PAR file in Solid Edge SE2023, which due to the vulnerability, leads to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2023-36915-arbitrary-code-execution-vulnerability-in-gtkwave-3-3-115\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"42734\">execution of the malicious code<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prevention and Mitigation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The most effective way to mitigate this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-49002-critical-vulnerability-in-dataease-bypassing-patch-for-cve-2025-32966\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"86447\">vulnerability is by applying the vendor-provided patch<\/a>. If the patch cannot be applied immediately, it is recommended to use Web Application Firewalls (WAF) or Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) as a temporary measure. However, these are not foolproof and could still leave the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2023-49129-stack-overflow-vulnerability-in-solid-edge-se2023-allows-potential-system-compromise\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"43501\">system vulnerable<\/a>.
