This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-3616-arbitrary-file-upload-vulnerability-in-greenshift-wordpress-plugin\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"39923\">file uses `actions\/upload-artifact@v4` to upload<\/a> the `z80pack-ubuntu` artifact, which is a zip of the current directory. This directory includes the automatically <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-4391-wordpress-echo-rss-feed-post-generator-plugin-arbitrary-file-upload-vulnerability\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"50877\">generated `.git\/config` file<\/a> that contains the run&#8217;s GITHUB_TOKEN. The vulnerability comes into play because this artifact can be downloaded before the end of the workflow, creating a small window where an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2021-47663-unauthenticated-remote-attacker-gaining-full-access-due-to-improper-json-web-tokens-implementation\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"41655\">attacker can extract the token<\/a> from the artifact.<br \/>\nWith this token, an attacker can use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-49013-code-injection-vulnerability-in-wilderforge-projects-due-to-unsafe-github-actions-usage\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"60107\">GitHub API to push malicious code<\/a> or rewrite release commits in your repository.
