When an application using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2023-45724-unauthenticated-file-upload-vulnerability-in-hcl-dryice-myxalytics\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"33987\">vulnerable mholt\/archiver library unarchives the ZIP file<\/a> using the archiver.Unarchive function, the malicious ZIP file can be extracted in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-43971-critical-vulnerability-in-gobgp-paving-the-way-for-system-compromise\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"40136\">way that overwrites sensitive files on the system<\/a>. The overwritten files are written with the same <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-3418-privilege-escalation-vulnerability-in-wpc-admin-columns-plugin-for-wordpress\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"33556\">privileges as the application executing the vulnerable<\/a> function.
