This function does not properly restrict <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-48340-critical-csrf-vulnerability-in-danny-vink-user-profile-meta-manager-allows-privilege-escalation\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"52888\">user meta<\/a> values that can be updated. The &#8216;id&#8217; parameter is set to &#8216;wp_capabilities&#8217;, which is the meta key for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-2563-privilege-escalation-vulnerability-in-user-registration-membership-wordpress-plugin\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"35833\">user roles in WordPress<\/a>, and the &#8216;value&#8217; parameter is set to the serialized PHP array for the Administrator role.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mitigation Guidance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The easiest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameeba.com\/blog\/cve-2025-43971-critical-vulnerability-in-gobgp-paving-the-way-for-system-compromise\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"40138\">way to mitigate this vulnerability<\/a> is by applying the vendor patch.
